Pyrasied likes to share the beauty of acrylic (PMMA) with you and the world! Acrylic, the transparent plastic commonly referred to by the brand name Plexiglas, is a particularly beautiful material. That is why we have many different variants in stock as standard. So what is so special about 'plain' clear acrylic? Its beauty lies precisely in its clarity, as it is much clearer and stronger than glass. Acrylic has a high light transmission of 92%, it is optically pure material.
You can always see this purity in the applications as well. This material is often used by the interior industry for decorative applications. In addition, the material is also often used technically by industry for e.g. machine covers.

Acrylic is known for its excellent properties. This material is 25 times stronger than glass, UV-resistant, colourfast and has a long lifespan. With proper use, acrylic stays beautiful for years. After use, this type of plastic is fully recyclable into new acrylic sheets and therefore good for the environment. We also offer acrylic made from 100% recycled acrylic, Green Cast and Ecocrylic.
