Pyrasied has the largest stock of acrylic (PMMA) and polycarbonate tubes and round, square, and triangle bars in Europe. It is available in various thicknesses, materials in both clear and satin.

Acrylic tubes and rods are optically pure, strong and often UV-resistant. Transparent tubes of this plastic are widely used for decorative applications in stand and exhibition construction, furniture and interior design, and for technical applications such as reactors. Pyrasied stocks acrylic tubes and rods as standard in cast acrylic (GS) and extruded acrylic (XT). Cast acrylic is optically purer, while XT acrylic is relatively cheaper.
Acrylic tubes can be ordered in the following types:
Acrylic rods are available in the following types:
Polycarbonate tubes and rods are extremely impact-resistant; they are even 250 times stronger than glass! The material is extruded from standard granules and is not UV-protected. Polycarbonate is mainly used for technical applications, such as lighting as shielding for light sources and in the process industry. Polycarbonate is optically less pure than acrylic.
Polycarbonate tubes are available in the following types:
Tubes and bars can be easily machined: sawing, milling, gluing, drilling, polishing, sanding and lettering. Feel free to take contact with our plastics specialists for more information on operations.
Well-known brand names of acrylic are Versato, Astariglas, PLEXIGLAS and Perspex. Well-known brand names of polycarbonate are Fuerto, Lexan and Makrolon.
Tubes and rods can be ordered from us per full length of 2000mm. The chosen length can optionally be ordered to size with a minimum length of 100mm per length. The remainder will be included with your order.
A tube is hollow and a staff is solid.
Acrylic is optically purer than polycarbonate. Polycarbonate, on the other hand, is much more impact resistant than acrylic.
GS acrylic is cast and is optically slightly cleaner than XT tubes. This is due to the extrusion process used to produce XT tubes. XT tubes are pricier than GS tubes due to the continuous production process.
GS tubes can be ordered in larger diameters and XT tubes, on the other hand, can be ordered in smaller diameters.
XT: diameters 20-250 mm
GS: diameters 40-610 mm
Acrylic tubes are reasonably UV-stable and weatherproof, but they are not designed for long-term outdoor use. Eventually, they yellow.
