Ecocrylic XT

Ecocrylic XT is an innovative and unique material: the first extruded acrylic to consist entirely of recycled materials. It is made from 100% recycled acrylic, sourced from both pre-consumer and post-consumer streams.

The result is a high-quality material that offers the same properties as traditional XT acrylic: crystal clear, colourfast, UV-resistant and easy to process.

  • Sustainable and circular
  • High quality, low environmental impact
  • Precise thickness tolerance

Ecocrylic XT: recycled extruded acrylic

Ecocrylic XT is an innovative and technically advanced sheet material: the first extruded acrylic made entirely from 100% recycled acrylic. The material consists of pre- and post-consumer waste streams from industrial production and used acrylic products, among others.
Ecocrylic XT combines the familiar properties of traditional XT acrylate with a fully circular raw material base: crystal clear, UV-resistant, colourfast, and excellent processability.

Technical precision and stability

Thanks to the continuous extrusion process, Ecocrylic XT is characterised by a very consistent thickness and minimal tolerances. This makes the material particularly suitable for applications where dimensional stability, repeatability, and technical reliability are essential.
Ecocrylic XT has been developed for series production and functional applications where consistency in processing and final result is paramount.

Applications

Ecocrylic XT is widely used in:

  • Interior construction and architecture
  • signing en visuele communicatie
  • displays and presentation systems
  • Technical profiles and covers
  • Product design and industrial applications

Thanks to its consistent material quality, it is ideal for both functional and large-scale applications.

100% recycled and circular material

Why choose Ecocrylic XT?

Ecocrylic XT is the ideal choice for applications where technical precision and durability go hand in hand. The material combines 100% recycled acrylate with the stability of an extruded production process.

You benefit from consistent quality, minimal thickness variation, and a material that is excellent for processing in series production and functional applications. At the same time, Ecocrylic XT contributes to a circular plastics chain, without compromising on performance or reliability.

Ecocrylic XT vs Green Cast GS

Within the Pyrasied range, Ecocrylic XT forms the extruded alternative to Green Cast GS, which is cast recycled acrylic.

Ecocrylic XT

  • Extruded acrylic (XT) with 100% recycled material.
  • Produced continuously, it has very consistent thicknesses and minimal tolerances.
  • Excellent for applications such as profiles.
  • Due to the continuous extrusion process, XT acrylate is more economical than GS acrylate.

Green Cast GS

  • Cast acrylic (GS) consisting entirely of 100% recycled material.
  • Produced per sheet, offering flexibility in thicknesses, colours and surface textures.
  • Ideal when customisation and variation in sizes and finishes are important.
