Opal Acrylic

Opal Acrylic (Plexiglas/PMMA) by Pyrasied is a durable material, excellent for lighting and interior applications.

Pyrasied offers an extensive range of opal acrylic sheets, suitable for various applications such as LED lighting, interior design, displays and signage. The sheets are durable, environmentally friendly and easy to work with, ideal for both professional projects and creative applications.

Opal acrylic diffuses light evenly, for example in light panels or illuminated displays. It captures light, conducts it and creates a soft and even light image without visible hotspots, ensuring clear and uniform results.

Types of opal acrylic at Pyrasied

Seta-LED

Seta-LED plates are made of 100% recycled and recyclable cast acrylic, specially designed for LED lighting. They are tuned to the wavelength of LED light and ensure optimum light distribution without hotspots. Seta-LED is UV-resistant, up to ten times more impact-resistant than glass and easy to work with. Efficient light distribution means fewer LEDs can be used, saving energy. A durable and aesthetic choice for illuminated displays, signage and interior elements.

Tip: always test a prototype, as the distance to the LED source and the brightness can affect the final result.

Polarite

Polarlite is a high-quality collection of cast acrylic sheets made from 100% recycled and recyclable material. With a matt side that better hides fingerprints and dust, these sheets are UV-resistant, 8 to 10 times more impact resistant than glass and easy to process with laser cutting, thermoforming and gluing. Ideal for light panels, interior design and signage.

Ecocrylic opal

Ecocrylic is extruded acrylic made entirely from recycled XT material. Circular, colourfast and UV-resistant, with a light transmission of around 30%, ideal for subtle light diffusion.
