Properties of block acrylic

With a light transmission of 92%, the material remains optimally crystal-clear.

Acrylic block is available as standard in thicknesses of 40 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, 70 mm, 80 mm, 90 mm and 100 mm. You can also order it fully customised.

Levering en afwerking van blok acrylaat

Blok acrylaat wordt standaard op maat gezaagd geleverd. De zaagsnede is functioneel afgewerkt en geschikt voor diverse technische toepassingen. De productafbeeldingen tonen een gepolijste uitvoering van dik blok acrylaat, zodat de optische helderheid en kwaliteit van het materiaal goed zichtbaar zijn.

Voor toepassingen waarbij een hoogwaardige zichtafwerking gewenst is, kan het blok acrylaat verder worden bewerkt, bijvoorbeeld door polijsten, frezen of andere nabewerkingen. Deze aanvullende bewerkingen van dik acrylaat worden op aanvraag uitgevoerd.

Applications

Block acrylic has been used widely, including for signing and lettering, displays, viewing glasses, awards, balustrades, stair treads, protective covers, machine parts, furniture applications, bar and counter fronts and shop displays. In many projects, the material replaces traditional glass with a safer and lighter alternative.

Processing options
