Block acrylic is extra thick, clear plastic with stunning optical purity. You can order it fully customised. This block material is available as standard in thicknesses of 40 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, 70 mm, 80 mm, 90 mm and 100 mm.

Properties

Acrylic has excellent properties: it is colourless, lightweight, rigid, practically unbreakable and easy to process. With a light transmission of 92%, it remains crystal clear. Block acrylic is also weatherproof, UV-stable and does not yellow, allowing the material to be used safely outdoors.

Block material is widely used for signing, displays, sight glasses, awards, balustrades, stair treads, lids and much more.

Processing options

Thick acrylic is easy to process. Possible processing options include sawing, milling, gluing, drilling, polishing and matting.
