Acrylic tubes and rods

Acrylic tubes and rods are optically pure, strong and often UV-resistant. Transparent tubes of this plastic are widely used for decorative applications in stand and exhibition construction, furniture and interior design, and for technical applications such as reactors. Pyrasied stocks acrylic tubes and rods as standard in cast acrylic (GS) and extruded acrylic (XT). Cast acrylic is optically purer, while XT acrylic is relatively cheaper.

Polycarbonate is mainly used for technical applications, such as lighting as shielding for light sources and in the process industry. Polycarbonate is optically less pure than acrylic.
