Description
Hesaglas precision acrylate, supplied by Topacryl, is a very thin cast acrylate with an exceptionally low thickness tolerance. The material is known for its extreme dimensional accuracy and optical purity, making it ideally suited for applications where precision and consistency are essential.
Thanks to these properties, Hesaglas is widely used in high-quality technical and optical applications, such as optical instruments, electronic displays and display panels where uniformity and brightness are crucial. In addition, Hesaglas is ideal for model and model making, watch glasses (Hesalite), fixtures, infrared and optical filters, displays and front panels. The material combines sophisticated aesthetics with technical reliability, even at very low thicknesses.
Properties of precision acrylate (Hesa-glass)
- Minimum thickness tolerance: suitable for precision applications
- Optically pure and clear
- Standard gloss surface, some variants in light matt, matt or strong matt
- European-made with high quality standards
- Available in more than 20 colour shades and various thicknesses
Stock
With Hesaglas, numerous colour options are available. Pyrasied stocks more than 20 different colours (including fluorescent colours), and thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mm to 2 mm. Pyrasied also offers a special Hesaglas sheet that is infrared permeable, ideal for discreet positioning of black-and-white or infrared-sensitive colour cameras.
The special thing about Hesaglas is that all colours are independent of the material thickness. This means that you can, for example, use a 0.8 mm sheet next to a 1.5 mm sheet without any colour difference.
Applications
Hesaglas precision acrylic sheets can be used for many different applications in which very thin material is used, for example as (light) fixtures, model making, model making, sight glass, watch glass, laser scanner filter (2999 black/red infrared), LED protection, UV eye protection in medical devices and other medical applications and laboratory equipment, light filters, diving goggles glasses, eye protection glass, guitar plectra, security camera glass and more.
Processing options
Hesa glass can be processed in the following ways:
- Laser
- Saw
- Coating
