Description
Polycarbonate clear UV is a transparent plastic sheet with exceptional impact resistance. This material is 250 times stronger than glass. It is extremely impact-resistant, UV-resistant and has a good fire rating B1. Because of this property, polycarbonate is well suited for use as glazing, walls, boat windows, canopies or as protection that are hufterproof and burglar-resistant.
Polycarbonate clear UV is also excellent for use in machinery and industrial applications due to its high rigidity and impact resistance.
In addition, polycarbonate has a very good fire rating of Bs1d0 which allows it to be used in public and public areas (with the exception of airports, where PETG is required). This is due to the high temperature resistance of polycarbonate, while the material is also self-extinguishing and fire-retardant. Another feature of this material is that it can be cold bent without cracking. It is unbreakable and the sheets 50% lighter than glass.
Pyrasied also offers polycarbonate smoke colours and mirror plates. In addition, tubes, rods and plates with high optical quality are available.
