Description
PMMA tube clear CC is a high-quality, optically clear tube made of continuously cast acrylic. This continuously cast acrylic material is known for its clear appearance and good machinability. Thanks to the continuous casting process of the acrylic, it has less internal stresses than extruded acrylic, making it more stable during operations such as sawing, turning, gluing or thermoforming.
These tubes are ideal for visual applications where brightness and aesthetics are important, such as display cases, displays, lighting applications, furniture, laboratory set-ups and technical installations. Optical purity is very high, with a light transmission of approx. 92%, similar to glass, but lighter and more impact-resistant.
