Description

HMPE 1000 green is an extremely impact- and wear-resistant plastic material that is ideally suited for heavy-duty and demanding applications. Thanks to its high molecular density, the material offers excellent mechanical strength, wear resistance and durability, making it widely used in conveyor belts, sliding profiles, machine parts and industrial constructions.

HMPE 1000 green combines reliability with long service life and remains effective under heavy load, friction and extreme conditions. This makes it an ideal material for demanding engineering projects.

Processing options

The material can be processed by machining methods such as drilling, milling, turning and sawing. Laser cutting is also possible up to a certain thickness, and waterjet cutting can be used for more complex shapes.

Applications

• Mechanical Engineering & Industry: Used for sliding strips, chain guides, sprockets, gear slats and other friction-sensitive parts.
• Food industry: Safe for direct contact with food, does not splinter and is easy to clean (cutting plates, transport parts).
• Transport & Logistics: Dump bunkers, hoppers and conveyors (prevents clogging thanks to low friction).
