Description
Acrylic Tube Clear Continuously Cast (CC)
The Acrylic tube clear CC is made of continuously cast PMMA and offers exceptional optical purity, strength and stability. Due to the continuous casting process, these tubes have less internal stresses than extruded tubes, making them more stable when sawing, turning, gluing and thermoforming.
Properties
- Optical purity & light transmission: Approximately 92% similar to glass
- Strong and dimensionally stable: ideal for structural and decorative applications
- UV-resistant & weatherproof: suitable for indoor and outdoor applications
- Workability: sawing, milling, gluing, drilling, polishing, sanding and printing
- Various sizes: diameters and wall thicknesses available on request, standard lengths up to 2100 mm
- Types & variants: transparent (clear), recycled transparent, opal and satin
Thanks to the continuously cast manufacturing process, CC tubes maintain their shape and clarity during complex operations and are more stable than extruded alternatives.
Applications
- Showcases and displays: bright and uniform light guidance
- Lighting: lamps, luminaires and light objects
- Furniture and interior design projects: table legs, decorative elements
- Laboratory and technical installations: reactors, liquid tanks, piping systems
- Decorative objects and art projects
Processing options
- Sawing and milling
- Bonding
- Drilling and polishing
