Difference between Ecocrylic® XT and Greencast® GS
In addition to Ecocrylic® acrylic, Pyrasied also offers Greencast® recycled acrylic. The main difference between the two materials is in the production method and the amount of recycled material.
Green Cast GS
Cast acrylic (GS) consisting entirely of 100% recycled material.
Produced per sheet, offering flexibility in thicknesses, colours and surface textures.
Ideal when customisation and variation in sizes and finishes are important.
Ecocrylic XT
Extruded acrylic (XT) with 100% recycled material.
Produced continuously, it has very consistent thicknesses and minimal tolerances.
Excellent for applications such as profiles.
Due to the continuous extrusion process, XT acrylate is more economical than GS acrylate.
In short, GS is ideal for flexible, customised sheets with 100% recycled material, while XT is perfect for cost-efficient applications with consistent quality.
