Polycarbonate tubes are fire-retardant, hufterproof and extremely impact-resistant. PC tubes are extruded from normal standard granulate and do not have a UV-protective layer. Plastic polycarbonate tubes are optically less attractive than acrylic tubes, but on the other hand have better fire certification (B1 according to the European standard) and are impact-resistant.

Due to their high impact resistance and flame-retardant properties, polycarbonate round bars are widely used for technical applications in industry. They are suitable as machine parts, guards and in situations where safety and durability are crucial.

Polycarbonate tube clear can be sawn, milled, cold bent, glued, drilled, faceted, polished, matted and printed.
